Otto Dix

Otto Dix (1891-1969) was a German printmaker and painter known for his harsh depiction of German reality during the two World Wars and the Weimar Republic. Together with George Grosz and Max Beckman he is generally included in the artistic movement of Neue Sachlichkeit, or in English, New Objectivity.
